Solva Sabo (1432 - 1505 AS) was born in the city-state of Almeidi and is best remembered as a traveller and explorer who traveled the length and breadth of Amallon and Torthalon beyond.

He is best remembered for his epic, thousand-stanza poem, "The Three Jewels of Maraseri", the title of which provided the colloquial term still used to describe those three cities today.

Sabo's great journies occupied the lion's share of his life and he amassed a sizeable fortune as a merchant plying goods back and forth across Torthalon. Throughout his life he wrote, and would continue to add to, a four volume work concerning the wonders of lands far away and detailing incredible stories and legends of Jiyen, Sangji, Chanbu and other strange locales.
